I've been in lots of Ravels shops over the years but never bought any shoes from them (till now!) but they always look good quality to me and full price are usually more than I'd like to pay! lol0 -

Clarks are not taking over them.
Ravel has always been part of the Clarks group.
Ravel are just closing down as they are not doing as well as they always have.
Some Ravel shops will be changed into Clarks stores where there isn't already a nearby Clarks shop. All others will close.
