Hi,
Will the OR be ok with me spending money on a college course?
It's not a lot of money £70 for the course then there are options for exams after at £100 an exam.
This would benefit my job and could get me a pay rise or a better paid job elsewhere.

Can't see why not, they may not allow it on your SOAs though. But if you've listed for example £400 under 'Living Expenses' and only spend £300 and use the rest towards the course I can't see why a) they would have to know; b) why they'd have a problem with it.0
