Hi,

Does anyone have a "landline" number for Blackhorse,

I previously used 02820296000, but this isn't working anymore

I have tried the website "saynoto" as well, but can't find one

Its really just a number I can call free from my mobile

Tia

Different ways to contact Black Horse

    By telephone
If you’ve got a question, need information, or need to talk about your account, please call customer services on 0844 824 8888

If you are unable to pay, call the Collections Contact centre on 0844 824 8822.

If you put the above number in saynoto0870 it gives you a freephone number which is 0800 0857396.

When you call the freephone number it does state that the number is changing but just hold on the line and you will be put through.

The 0208 number has been replaced by 03332004433 and Ofcom state "Calls to 03 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number and must count towards any inclusive minutes in the same way as 01 and 02 calls.
These rules apply to calls from any type of line including mobile, BT, other fixed line or payphone" from this link here http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/2009/09/what-are-03-numbers/ so hopefully it will be free on your mobile.

Thanks, got through to them.. From work :-) but I have saved the number,

The problem is.. I paid my monthly installment on 26th Fed (usually pay it on pay day) and today, it was returned to my back account,

Bank tells me Black Horse returned it, and Black Horse are telling me they never even got it.. Never mind returned it

I have double checked all the details with them both, sort code, etc (I pay it by internet banking and have done for ages!) But the details are all correct

The only explanation I could think of is the account was supposed to be fully paid off by now, but over the past few years they have taken reduced payments and payment holidays at times, so the account is "closed" or something like that, so the payment is getting returned,

I suggested this to B.H, they said "no way"! Tho the lady I spoke with in the bank suggested the same thing, that the account has been closed and the money is being returned as an overpayment, when I went back to BH with this info.they then agreed it was a possibility,

So they are "looking into it" and will get back to me tmara, has anyone ever had this happen to them before?

They are sending me a payment book, but if its going to have the exact same banking details on it, I can forsee the same problem!
