it says the instructions of buying this is you need a code:
1.) Add all of the products you wish to buy into your basket
2.) Click on the ‘View Basket' icon at the top of the page
3.) In the ‘Source Code’ box simply add the code that was provided by the newspaper and click ‘update’
4.) The cost of the weather station will now show as a discount across your order
but i just went to checkout and went through without needing a codeThanks
Thank youLiz x0 -
I have just managed to get one too without the code! Thank you.0

Thanks, chum. I used your Telegraph link and the code automatically appeared at check-out.
Lovely stuff, bought some other things too. Nice little website.

There won't be any problem ordering them because they're actually worth pretty much what you're paying - £5.65.
Ignore the inflated RRP - they're still making a profit on these, even after paying for delivery.0 -
They've got those things that you put on your shoes to stop you slipping in the snow and at only £2.70 postage they've got to be worth it.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Back in the 60's I used to keep weather records but could not afford an instrument for wind speed or sunshine recorder.
The Ipad app 'AccuWeather' is a quite amazing weather forecaster. The wind direction where I am located seems to go around all points of the compass within 24 hours which is probably why I have not seen a weather vane here.:j0 -

I'm sure you're right, but I've looked on Amazon and can only find a weather station without the alarm clock at about £8 including delivery.
So I prefer this as it does have the alarm clock, and looks as if comparable RRP's would be fairly similar. I take the point, however, that this is inflated somewhat.
So thank you for your advice, you may well be right, but I, for one, am happy with this purchase (except that it can take up to 28 days to deliver!); and I like the website. Very interesting and new to me.
Think I'll have a look at the little ice shoe things as they look as if they are easy to slip on and off.0
