Unemployed - Not claimed JSA for ages?

Ok. I have a mate who was unemployed and signing on. He had some problems in his life and dropped out, had depression, etc. He is living on savings and making some cash.

He intends to sign back on and start having some sort of income. He's about £2k between 2 banks so he should be ok.

I've no idea why he's not signed on and I think its been 6months or summit stupid thats £200 a month I gotta find out when he did last as >6months is RapidReclaim

if you look at his other posts he has a habit of writing statements not questions. OP could equally easily be the person who is now intending to sign on based on his previous "stories" about running a small business and how to keep its cash in hand income off the record
