Mortgage After BR

I'm sure this has been asked a million times before but would appreciate any advice.

I went BR in November 2009. AD bang on 12 months later. I've had no real issues, only one being the Halifax haven't updated my credit files despite writing to them several times (showing no payment on my £300 overdraft) all other creditors have obliged with my requests.

I am now in a very secure job, earning double that I was when I went BR. As it stands at the moment I could comfortably service a mortgage. At the moment we are putting as much away as possible ad a deposit for when my '6 years are up'.

Now my boss has made me a great offer, he's happy to buy a house for us, charge us the same rent we are paying now, with the plan we buy the house when I have passed the 6 year mark.

I'm aware there is no science to it and every case is different. But from experience, come November 2015 and the months after how likely is it I could get a mortgage? What level of deposit should I be needing to save? I want to make sure in three years time I'm left not being able to get a mortgage or being asked for a high deposit.

Thanks in advance for your advice
