Endowment/pension Mortgage compensation calculation

I have been offered £7400 compensation for my mis-sold pension mortgage which works the same as the endowment mortgage.

I am currently complaining to the ombudsman to increase the offer as Zurich will only calculate based on £38,300 not the £51,500 which is actually the mortgage amount. They made a mistake on the fact find which they never showed me.

I asked for a detailed breakdown of the Mortgage fundamentals calcution used to work our compensation and they have used very low interest rates (definately lower than I was paying) are thay trying to fiddle me again or should I stay quiet, I can't make my mind up which?

I have looked at exasoft who have the software to make the calculation but they charge over £50 per calc.

Can anyone help me get hold of some software that will help me work it out for myself?

Thanks

They use the Halifax standard variable rate unless you supply them with the actual rates you paid. You have a choice which they use.

Which is better for me lower or higher rates?

    Cheers for response.
