    Why not steam your own basmati rice and save a fortune? Otherwise you are paying for water. Steamed rice reheats beautifully from frozen in the microwave with a splash of water, if you don't have a steamer/ rice cooker/ time. The key is not to stir at any point.

    Well I agree its a more expensive way of buying rice , but it might benefit some people , thats why I posted , since I thought it was a good price for that kind of rice .
    As for myself I buy mainly " raw" rice and sometimes the pre steamed , if its on offer .
