Will the bank take reclaimed charges?

I am wanting to reclaim charges from my bank, and have started the process. However, I owe them money - will they just take it off what I owe them if I win?
I'm also not sure, but I think that this debt may have been passed to a collection agency- if that's the case, what happens then?

I think that you might need to check with the bank to see if the records that they have for you still says that you owe them money? Do they still have the overdraft as a minus?

If they still have the debt there then I assume that they will clear what they owe you off the debt but you might need to provide evidence of this going in to the account to the Debt Collection Agency.

If the bank doesn't have a record of the debt on the account anymore then you will have to forward the amount on to the Debt Collection Agency. I can't be sure about this so I would check with what other people say on here first.
