Wood's Navy Rum 57%

The only affordable rum that I can drink neat. It is reduced to £18.99/70cl bottle in Morrisons. I feel a bit gutted because I bought a lot @ £23.99 several weeks ago. I bought 5 today and will return for more. If I pop my clogs early, any mourners will have a marvellous wake!!!!!

57% neat Rum can't be good for you. Coke with it, maybe...
  • I'm not so sure that coke is good for you either! Best not to mix them I think. I'm with the OP on this one :)

Good deal, not to be ruined by mixing with coke, £20.99 in Sainsbury's
  • It is best to be sipped and enjoyed. I only use the cheaper dark rums with mixers, eg Ribena. To add a mixer to Woods is the same as adding ginger ale to a premium single malt - I once took back some Glenfiddich from my brother-in-law because he asked for some dry ginger or ginger wine - I gave him a blended whisky instead!:D
