Remortgage & Maternity

Hi I was asking for advice the other day - basically we want to remortgage, my advisor has said not to include my wages as I'm pregnant. You lovely people said I should have my wages included as we would struggle on my husbands. My adviser disagrees!
Today I spooke to him & said we wanted to go ahead with the Abbey mortgage but wanted my wages included. He said there is no point as they will not be taken into consideration.
When we apply for the mortage I will be 17 weeks so to early to get confirmation from my employer that I will be going back to work. So he's saying that they will not take my wages into consideration at all. Mortgage companies also don't use statutory maternity pay as an income. I only work part time so the difference between my wages and SMP is the same bar £20 per month!
Really don't no where to go from here!

You should have continued the previous thread, instead of starting a new one. We have to go back to that one to see what was the issue in question.
Plenty of us said you would not be able to borrow enough. Have a play with this and see what you get as an output;-

Don't know if this will help you any but I am currently 7 months into my mat leave and we are currently coming to the end of a fixed rate with First Direct, when I called them they said they would not look at my wages on my return to work in case I did not return.
We are currently in the process of remortgaging with Britannia and when I called them they said they would include my earnings when I returned to work. I am guessing all lenders vary?0
