Passengers often sacrifice service for perceived cheaper budget airline deals. But how far behind are the no-frills carriers on service, if at all? Please rate as many of the UK and Irish airlines as you like on service in this week's poll.

I flew with Virgin Atlantic back in November and experienced two very different levels of service.
The flight out was fine. The entertainment was good, food was decent and (thanks to seatguru) not too cramped. But on the way back.....
The plane had been changed so my prebooked seats were not available resulting in a very cramped seat, they ran out of the only meal I could eat by the time they reached us, the crew openly discussed their plans in the aisle which let us all know they were inept as they weren't sure what they were doing or when we were due to land and it was the most depressing and uncomfortable flight I've ever been on.
Such a pity this one flight let them down because everything else from booking to checking in was professional, courteous and efficient.0 -
I've never had a problem with Ryanair or Easyjet.
I know what the rules are and read all the pages properly so I don't get caught out by "hidden charges"just passing through.... Nothing to see....0
