TopCashback now paying out in Tesco points so you can multiply cashback x 4!!

I haven't seen a post about this so sorry if it's been done - l expect it has you savvy people

I was amazed this morning when l logged on to claim my £27 cashback, TopCashback are now paying out in Tesco Clubcard Points so the potential is there to quadruple your FREE money. (Upto a maximum of £50 per year per clubcard - one clubcard linked to each TCB account).

Great news, except that your vouchers with Tesco are not as reliable as having cash in your pockets, as several people had their accounts hacked and vouchers stolen (many refunded, some still struggling to get them money back from Tesco).

Cashback was ready in my account (£12) and so chose the option to convert to Tesco Clubcard points. Did this on Tuesday and noticed today when filling petrol up, but points balance was higher. Just checked online and the value (plus .38 extra) has been credited to my account.

Really impressed with this. That £12 is going to be quadrupled to £48 for Pizza Express vouchers. That's a few meals out!

(Just waiting for the other £35 to clear now in my TopCashback Account for the same purpose!)

I have used my Top Cash Back reward money for Tesco points too, have looked every where for this £50 max, could not see it but this is now the second time it has been mentioned so must be true ?:beer: ( 1p per WHOLE pint cheaper)Beer.

I have got £227 in my topcashback account how do I use £50 of this towards clubcard points?
All the merchants I have shopped at the cashback has been higher the £50 so don't know how to split this?

Annoyingly, I think the answer is that if each individual cashback amount is more than £50 you can't withdraw it as Clubcard points (I have had a similar issue).

My latest TCB for Tesco points (or will be when I claim) was to join butlers bingo. I had to play through £10 cash (so deposited £10, and spent all of it, every penny including bonuses) to gain £20 cashback. this will eventually be worth £80 to us.

remember though, the free cashback (5p for a search) etc is very worthwhile if you are going to convert it into Tesco points.

the biggest thing I've found to boost TCB is the snap n save app. Ive had £9 worth of shopping cashback withdrawn as 900 odd points

I had over 5000 points removed from my CC account the other day after using TCB to get tesco points. I had to contact Tesco who told me that TCB is only allowed to use up to £50 ie the top up discount can not take you over 5000 points. This is not what is stated on the TCB payment page. Thankfully Tesco said as it was not really my fault I would get all my points back by next statement.

So you can only change £47.62 of your cashback into Tesco points since the 5% bonus they pay you will take it to £50.
