i have yet to watch supersize me, is it on TV this week? but it's made mcd's look harder at their ingredients and they've made changes. watching jamie oliver showing what's in chicken nuggets on his school dinners programme actually made me want to eat in mcdonalds, because their nuggets are pure chicken breast, have a reduced salt content and are actually rather nice lol! supersize me could have been made using any fast food - an english chip shop, a kebab shop, KFC, pizza hut, burger king - and hardly anyone would eat a double quarter pounder anyway. who ever bought supersize chips for themselves? a supersize portion would be shared between 2 or more people.
i'm perfectly capable of eating sensibly, including eating at mcdonalds. my child is perfectly healthy despite the occasional happy meal - he eats nuggets, fruit bag (or carrots, sometimes fries) and a bottle of water or orange juice. of course if he went for cheeseburger, fries and coke he'd get fat but not everybody chooses that combination. we love mcdonalds, and the cheaper the better52% tight0 -
I've got a voucher book that probably won't get used so I'm giving it away. I've taken a couple out (one for free yogurt, one for BOGOF McChicken) just in case and will post the rest to the first person who pm's me for them (please provide postal details)0

I contacted them and got an email today telling me they've put one in the post for me. I told them I couldn't get any from local branches, or through the post.

i totally agree, i dont know what the big fuss about supersize me was. If anyone eat ANY of the same food every day 3 times a day for 30 days then they would get ill and fat. mcdonalds is fine in moderation and witha controlled well rounded diet. a couple of times a month aint gonna hurt anyone.0 -
