Already Started Christmas Shopping!

Maybe it's the weather's influence, but I have already started my Christmas shopping...

In the aftermath of Valentines Day and Mother's Day I'm seeing a lot of nice gift ideas slashed in price. A lot of of course 'branded' for the occasion, but a lot of the gift sets do not have any Valentines or MD printing over them, so I've nabbed so pretty good reductions and set them aside in my old wardrobe in the spare room. Already got a lot of good things for the wife, the mother-in-law etc, and after Father's Day I'll most likely be able to get my male relatives sorted too.

Feels strange to be shopping already, but I'm determined not to get to the end of November and engage panic mode with no cash and no time like I have in recent years.

Trouble is you end up turning your life into one endless Xmas shopping trip XD

You're not alone, I've started on mine as well! If I see something someone would like and it's at a bargain price I'll add it to my stash. I too am looking forward to finding out I'm pretty much done by the time everyone else starts shopping!

I have always had a 'pressie' box where I put bargins in. Never stuck for a birthday gift and helps with Christmas. So good Moneysaving zenseeker!

I do my shopping in advance too, but have not started on the Christmas shopping just yet! I made a list at the beginning of the year of everyone who I will be buying birthday presents for, and so have already got a lot of those sorted. Trouble is, when I buy something in advance that I know someone will love, I always have to resist the temptation to give it to them early!

i started mine............ on christmas morning:o:o:o

no one was awake, i was looking around online
found several bargains and bought them:o

i dont know why i feel
maybe because people hadnt opened their presents that day and i was buying next years:rotfl:

i also have a presents cupboard so never need to go buy birthday presents throughout the year

i made a "white board" laminating a sheet of A4 paper
its stuck on the inside of the door
when i buy something, i write on it
when i give something i wipe it off
(read that as use my finger:D)
