I have been offered by my mortgage broker the following deal:
Property Price: 235k
Deposit: 23.5k
Loan: 211.5k
Fixed for 2 years at 5.19%
Bank: Abbey
Arrangement fee: 999
I have only lived in the UK since the 1st of october 2006 so I am regarded as a higher risk. My salary is 46750 and I have worked with the company for 10 years. I bank with Natwest.
Do you think I can get a better deal somewhere else?
Kind Regards
Charlotte

I am not at work at the moment so not fully certain in this but the first thing I note about the deal you have quoted is that the 5.19% 2 yr fixed is £1499 fee not £999. Does your broker have an exclusive on this?
Did your broker show you how he/she arrived at this as being the best deal?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Hi Charlotte
The deal seems fine, but as homer says the fee looks wrong
As long as it meets your other requirements looks ok - there are cheaper deals but with far higher arrangement fees
