Ok, so here's what's going on.
Recently my partner had an operation which due to a prolonged healing period has caused to her to be signed off work, only being able to get statutory sick pay. This in turn means that between us we don't have enough money to pay bills, rent, council tax etc.
This however would not be the case if it wasn't for all the loan repayments my partner has to make each month. I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on what can be done.
For example I've heard that you can contact the bank and make them a minimum offer of what you can afford to pay and get around that way. This is obviously only until she returns to work which could be anything from a few weeks to a couple of months.
Any help is massively appreciated as currently things look very bleak.

Hi Joe
Welcome to MSE ,
Your main priorities are food on the table and a roof over your head .
Loans will have to wait , though it is possible to negotiate reduced payments . My advice would be to contact

Also worth checking if the loan offers a repayment holiday, costs a bit more in interest over the term but may be enough to get you back on your feet. I know Lloyds offer this not sure if other do0
