My Cake Moment!!

Due to a stocking malfunction I nipped home at lunch time from work, came in to the phone ringing, picked it up mid de-kitting of the above stocking to have the OR office on the other end of the phone.

He asked a couple of questions regarding my work, home , car , largest creditor and the circumstances around me becoming bankrupt. I am guessing from this conversation that he didn't have the paperwork from the court yet.

Whilst having this conversation my doorbell is now ringing, heavy knocking on the door, heard the door being opened i could see a car parked at the end of my drive then saw a man clutching a folder looking up at me.

Conversation completed, interview date set, hoisery malfunction covered by jim jam bottoms i run down the stairs court papers in hand pulling my frock over jim jam bottoms and answered the door to a rather irritated bailiff.

Obvioulsy I dont think he was too impressed with my tear/mascara stained face, jim jam/ work frock combo but less impressed with the news of Thursdays Bankruptcy and i was more than happy to give him the order. His parting words growling that i have to inform the council, I told him they knew I was going down this route as CAB wrote to them but seemingly its in my best interest to tell them that I have gone bankrupt. Can anyone tell me why I have to call them?

So that cake I was advised to have on Thursday that I really didn't fancy I now want!! I felt a bit of relief, and I haven't been struck down by lightening the world hasn't ended but caught sight of myself in a mirror and i look a b*gger!!!

OR interview 27th march, he is going to be able to tell me then for definate if i will be able to keep my car to be honest the interview is not worrying me, its another process that will get my life back on track so needs to be done.

Right where is that cake......

My OR contacted the council pretty pronto after my BR so I would assume yours will too. The bailiff needs to inform his client himself, his duty more than it is yours atm.

    Hope the cake was good!

    Thanks for the update.

The OR should inform the Council, but may not be right away. So may be worth telling them to see off any continued attempts at enforcement by them. Up to you.
