court judgement

My daughter recieved 2 letters in the post this morning . One from the county court accepting her offer on a debt , £150 plus £105 costs . The other letter came from a solicitor saying the debt was £578 .
She called the solicitor and they are not happy with the amount the court has accepted . Surely there is nothing they can do about it , someone must of okayed the amount . Is the court letter final ?

    Just want to clarify that.

How much is owed in total according to the court?

So she offered £150 per month and the court accepted that?

And the solicitors are not happy and want the £578 in one go?

The solicitors haven't heard from the court , they say the debt is still £578 . They don't understand why the court accepted £150 . I thought once accepted by the court it was final

My daughter disputed the amount owed and offered the £150 which the court accepted

Dont know for sure, but would imagine what the court says would stand, if they didnt like it they should have gone to court as well

    It is. More or less.

If the solicitors don't like it, then they would have to apply to the court to have it looked at again.

Unless they do that, then she just pays what the court orders.

Is the dispute over the total amount due, or the method of repayment?

The total amount of debt . The solicitor says £578 in total is owed . The court accepted £150 plus £105 costs to be payed at £20 a month

Also , how will this affect me ? My daughter does not live in this country and uses my address for her post . Will this judgement affect my clean credit rating ?

No. A CCJ is against the person, not the address. It should have no effect on you at all.
