I got a cute sewing kit for £1.50 down from £5. This morning they had not yet updated the SELs but were discounted as OP says - so worth checking anyway. There were also aprons and bunting.:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0

I also got some 70% off bits in my local Sainsburys, I was in there just after 9am and not much left. Got the jam set at 90p and the last tin of shortbread for £1.50, will be nice for the kids to give Nan for her birthday. Also got the last journal set at £1.50 which I thought would be nice for an end of year teacher gift. Lots of the flowers were half price but I felt they were very overpriced to begin with so not great bargain, but did get a nice little plant in a bag for £2 for a friend I was going to see for lunch.
There was no specific mothers day sale area in my Asda but on the usual reduced shelf I found small boxes of cadburys chocs that said thank you on, 8 small pralines inside, got a few boxes, 1 each for the teaching staff in sons class for end of year as they had a long date, 50p a box, said was £1. Lots of flowers and plants half price, got myself a cute mini vase with flowers for £2, nice small one, just the right size for when my little ones pick flowers for me out the garden.0 -
