Penny Plain closing down sale up to 90% off

Thank you for posting this. I have bought a dress for a wedding I'm going to http://www.pennyplain.co.uk/p/DR446/Kali-Dress.html and the cashmere cardigan.

I don't know why some people have to be so rude - I thought there were some lovely things on there!

My dress arrived this morning and it's nice - bit fed up my cashmere cardigan was not sent as oos.

Be aware, I sent back a dress from this company over four weeks ago and I am still have not had a refund. I have tried e-mail, so far no reply and if you ring them, because of the sale, you are kept hanging on the phone forever, even though they say they are dealing with returns as normal. I am not suprised they are closing down if this is how their customer service works!!!

to be fair they are usually OK my mother is having the same problem though, sent back around the same time as well! She rang today and they say they will contact her! i'm not so sure so will start chasing it in two days. have you had any luck chasing them for the refund?

I put an order with Penny Plain on the 8th of March and still no delevery, I understand they will be snowed under ( in many parts literally!) but you would think they would put on their website deleverytimes maybe slower, because of their sale. I have called today but their computers are ' down' and have been told to call on Monday!

Actually some of the stuff isn't that bad for some older ladies... the dresses, knitwear, accessories etc would make good presents. it also looks well made which is a consideration.

Everyone that has ordered from Penny Plain, in the last three weeks, have they got their order sent to them ?, I haven't and I have sent two emails to them, after rining them up and being told to do so, and still no email reply, I know they are under pressure but even just an email saying we are sorting your order out would be kind, or Is it me that is being unkind.Thanksx

Certainly not unkind, but possibly a bit optimistic!
