Just worked for me - 2 books for £1.98. But the site is sooo slow!!0 -
After spending 30 minutes trying to select 2 books I got the same message:(14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140

It recognised the voucher for me but where I had chosen 2 already discounted books it removed the existing discounts and applied the voucher INSTEAD!0

When you copy & paste the code, you're picking up a space afterwards. You can see a space is captured in the quotation marks around the code in the error message. Make sure you delete it just before updating your basket and it should work fine.
On a side note, the code appears to be deducting £10 from the original price, not a sale price. I added a book that 'was £16.99' and is now £12.74 and the amount left to pay after applying the code is £6.99.0 -
I think it may have been that I was ordering ebooks.
I selected a £25 hardback book and it took the £10 off but whilst I was waiting for it to update I found the same book for £11.98 elsewhere.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
Sadly getting message 'code has been used' :-(
Worth a try though - thanks for posting!0 -
fair play to em........Thank you for your recent order with DK and for showing an interest in our books. The discount code that you used when placing your order was originally set up as a dedicated, one-off promotion with Best Western, where a small number of children were awarded a £10 voucher for entering their Junior Hotel Inspectors Competition. The code that was issued to fulfil this competition was shared online in error which therefore resulted in others being able to redeem the voucher on our website. Despite this voucher being exclusive to the winners, we understand that the order you placed using the code was in good faith. As a company, DK stands by its integrity and customer service and therefore we would like to honour the orders made as a gesture of goodwill.
We value the relationship we have with our customers and are really pleased that you have taken the time to visit our website. We hope you enjoy the books you have ordered and if you want to hear more about the new and exciting books we have coming up, you can sign up to our free newsletter or visit https://www.dk.co.uk
Kind regards,

I got a shipment confirmation, then that email about honouring the code...I feel sort of bad, hope they didn't lose out too much from it. They seem like a really great company so I will definitely be ordering from them in the future...especially like the free shipping.0
