M&S send wrong Mothers' Day plant

Options
I ordered a gift wrapped lily each for my mum and mum-in-law but they both got hydrangeas. I actually ordered them on 21st Feb so well in time. I'm not too pleased they changed the order without consulting me.

I've emailed them asking for an explanation, so we'll see what they say.

The recipients wouldnt be any the wiser though. They were probably as pleased as punch anyway at your thoughtfullness.

I do agree, however, that you need an explanation.

M&S flowers are a complete nightmare. A group of friends and I sent flowers and chocolates to someone with guaranteed 24 hour delivery, they arrived three days late, completely dead and the chocolates having been rodent-chewed in the box. I've been using Serenata - quite a basic website but the flowers are gorgeous.

Apparently they reserve the right to change flowers if they run out and ..... they ran out! Got a refund on one though for the disappointment. Not sure I'll use them again, I like to get them different plants each year and with their terms and conditions I can't be sure that will happen.
