Consolidate loan into Mortgage?

Hello to you all,
I will soon be applying for my first mortgage and I was going to apply with Nationwide Building society, who I currently bank with.
My question is this though - I currently have an outstanding personal loan with Nationwide. Would I be able to ask Nationwide to consolidate this loan with my new mortgage?
Many thanks for any input you have on this.

No.
If you want to pay it off, you simply use some of your deposit and have a higher mortgage. You'll still need to meet the lender's loan to value and minimum deposit requirements though.I am a mortgage broker.
