After years of saving and hard graft, currently lucky enough to own a property worth £850,000 with no mortgage. Looking to try to raise some capital from this equity but unsure of the best way. What would you suggest? I have limited understanding of the finance world and am looking for a few pointers so I can research a bit more ! Thanks in advance !

Green?
How you raise money is pretty much based on;-
- your income
- your credit history
- the purpose of the borrowing.

Good credit history, no debt.
Income c £100,000 but no disposable income.
Was hoping to be able to take a chunk of equity out put it somewhere else and get some kind of income back from it.

So you want to borrow this money to purchase a rental property or invest in paper assets?
Please clarify what you mean by "no disposable income."I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. The income may well be eaten up by servicing the debt.0
