Hi Everyone.
Can anyone confirm whether a 1 month sim only contract with Tesco mobile, gets reported to your credit file in the same way as a normal contract mobile phone agreement does?
I've just been accepted for hen£12.50 per month and wondered whether this will help me to get some green ticks :T started on my credit file, now that I am discharged from bankruptcy?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Isn't it exactly the same as a normal contract? You make calls and pay next month.
Mobile contracts are reported but don't get the same value as a credit card on a credit report. Most lenders will even ignore late payments on mobile contracts on credit reports due to the many disputes customers have with their mobile operator.
Personally, I'd get a credit card....ensuring to use it regularly and pay it off in full every month.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Thanks HappyMJ. I will probably look at a credit card application in a few months as I have a lot of learning up to do on my credit file yet.0
