Bread maker loaf not high in gluten?

Options
Hi all,

Is it possible to successfully make a white loaf in a breadmaker without using strong white bread flour? I find that even though neither myself or my BF have coeliac's, bread that is high in gluten isn't too friendly to the old tum!

Any advice would be very gratefully received! :-)
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j

My Panasonic SD 253 has a gluten free program, can't say I've ever used it though.

I've used half strong flour, half plain in a enriched dough fruit loaf and its fine. I think 100% normal flour might be pushing it but I'd try it and find out. We're currently adding lemon juice (about a spoonful) to our normal bread recipe and it seems to be helping, apparently it helps when the gluten content of flour is low (because of low quality flour at the moment).
