help urgent regarding dismissel
i was working nights 4-12 until last monday
we were thrn told that this shift was ending and they offed me a position from 6am-2pm which i accepted
i have confirmation of this in writing, we were then asked to go to final consultation on friday
i was then told that they were going to offer me a compromise agreement as i hadnt fulfilled my role as team leader
when i asked them to explain further they said that if i didnt accept this they would dismiss me for gross misconduct
they said my duty was to make sure the team under me got home safe(am i a taxi service)
the team had stated they had no support but again i got information which states different, and also a director saw me in my car smoking
none of these points have ever been raised before, no warnings etc
question s why offer me a compromise if they have what they think as stated by them gross misconduct
on the compromise it states i was employed a team leader when i started but wasnt i was made up to team leader after 4 months but again no issues have been raised with me or my team we had improved the quality and the output so confused
