They are owned by Virgin Media. So you should be safe.

However often you find the items they are selling cheaper elsewhere and not have such high P&P charges.

It's only on very rare occasions you will bag a bargain.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

I have used Bid.tv and Bidup.tv of my freeview set, but i have never used them over the internet. The phone call costs £1.50, and the postage costs are £7.99 upwards,. so thats £9.50 on top of the bid price.
I find that a lot of the items are old stock, but the egyptian cotton towels are good quality and value for money if you can get them for a low bid.

I've used them loads of times and yes you can sometimes find cheaper elsewhere (usually after you've bought something lol) but i've never had any problems apart from a faulty toaster.
The also have Speedauction as part of they're company.
The best way to do it is to buy an item over the phone which then gives you an account and then if you wanna buy other stuff then do it online and this saves you the £1.50 phone call each time.
The Egyptian cotton towels are very nice.
Just before Christmas i bought 3 separate leather jackets for around £100 the lot so i was well cuffed.
Always looking for a bargain and to help

They have them in the various Birmingham Cash & Carry warehouses (open to the public) at good prices and very good quality too, I'm sure they'd have them in other cities too.

Hi, I use the web site, its fine & you dont have to pay the charge for the phone call. I registered with my credit card without any problems.

I also bought the towels, I bid £10 on a set & they ended at a higher price but I got a phone call from them to say they had "extra" sets so I could have them at the price I bid.
They are excellent quality & although the P+P is high when you take into account the low price you pay for the item its still a bargain.
They also have a shop in Huddersfield which I occasionally buy from.

Very lucky your friend, I have yet to see a single " bargain " from these people, indeed I am not really sure why they are being discussed on here, I thought this was about money saving, not money blowing.
