I brought a pair from Miss Selfridge, they were not cotton based but more Lycra. Great fit, keep their shape and not see through like some can be. Think they were about £20 but have lasted forever.

My daughter has topshop ones, they are not the basic ones though, about £18 but very good.

The VERY BEST leggings I've had are primark control leggings you get them from the underwear dept and they are £4. They are like really thick tights. Are long (I'm 5 foot 11) do not sag or go baggy are not see thru at all, do hold you in and do not budge and the dye doesn't come out of them like regular leggings I swear by them. I've got them I n black, chocolate and bottle green I think they do them in navy and burqandy too. They are virtually indestructible

I've tried those Primark ones but as they were very thick and nylon, I didn't get on with them very well as they weren't very breathable.

Only to say that I bought some from River Island and they kept falling down :rotfl:

p.s. another vote for the Primark "control" ones - they definitely *don't* fall down !!

H&M are great, comfy, a good length, and don't go see through. i think I paid £7 for mine but they have served faithfully for about 2 years and still good

Goodness me not very many people agree on same kind?? I have some of the primark control ones like tights which are fab but wanted another pair of actual leggings. Oh well I'm away to try some on and see what they are like....
