when does your credit history get checked

Ive put my application in for a mortgage :j

Before my mortgage adviser sent it away he mentioned something about my credit history being fine.

Does that mean hes checked my credit history already?

    When you submit your full application they carry out a credit check. That doesn't mean you'll 100% get the mortgage offer. It has to be approved by the underwriters who will look into your spending history along with other things to determine if you're OK to lend to.

    Ill find out on monday if ive got the mortgage.

    It should be fine but still nervous!

    The valuation etc will need to be completed before they're able to provide a mortgage offer.
