Sorry to bring bad news but most lenders run checks with BOTH providers.
However, i dont get how it can be worse with one or the other - they get data from the same sources.

Not always .. most creditors report to both but some only report to Equifax or Experian ... I'm not sure why this is though...:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

Anyone one know if RBS check Equifax? I know they do it for Current Accounts and Experian for Credit Cards. Not sure about Loan?

northern rock only use equifax for thier personal loan applicationsFor everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0
