I had trouble getting onto SB this morning, it kept saying "Oops page not found" when I typed in my username and password. I tried it about 10 times so I know I didn't type it wrong. Only managed to get on by changing my password. :(
Don't know why I bothered after seeing the 110 target!

I had a bit of trouble and then had to sign in again. 110? They must be joking. 44/110 so far. I'm not making it up with sbtv.

I not got an email either about referrals and I do have one, so not sure what going on there???

From looking at the SBTV stuff it seems a case of computer says "No". If their systems detect a bot then it's tough. There not going to back down.

If you look at the SB homepage it says "We reward you for answering surveys, playing games, watching videos, discovering offers, and searching the web. Most of all, we reward online shopping." - Maybe there slowly making it more and more difficult to earn from other avenues so it becomes primarily a shop and earn site.

I don't like the way they've changed the casino tasks, too much to find for so little reward. 24/110 - just got to play the games before work. I doubt I'll get the target today.
Oh and I have followed suit, I have cashed in £5 AGC just un case. I must make sure I don't spend it though!

I think the idea of the tasks is to make sure the casino sites' rankings stay well up in the search results. If people race through the tasks and click on and off the sites very quickly it doesn't help them to achieve this. They recently added in a couple more questions to keep people on the sites a bit longer but everyone still found quick ways round it. I did say a while back that if we found shortcuts and raced through the casino tasks they'd make them more difficult and they have.

  • 110:eek: No chance for me today - didn't get target last night and feeling rather relieved now as no real incentive to be trying to meet target now I've missed the 21 day bonus.

KM and Spiritwood - no baby yet, 4 creme eggs down last night and an early night, hence the lack of SB thread action! Thanks for thinking of me though - d-day is indeed getting closer...:eek::eek:

Have a good day SBuckers - few vids on the homepage and R1 today, but no big hitters given the 110 target!

I think if I remember rightly don't you have to search for the website then click on it? I think some of the Fisher tasks are like that too.

And if that is the case then yes it is to do with search engine optimisation. If people are searching for a particular phrase and that site is being clicked on then it is deemed by search engines to be a relevant result. There is also bounce rate to consider - bounce rate is when someone clicks on a site but then leaves within 30 seconds. A high bounce rate implies the site is not relevant to the search term - hence they want you to stay on the site longer.

Just got creditted 85 sb for the Booking iPhone app on TP... didn't credit instantly as advertised, but about 45 mins later. So that's me comfortably made my target today. Will try for a survey later, but otherwise an easy sb day for me here :D
