  • wow you must feel amazing right now Bob

I think it'll really seem real, when I get paid in April, and there's an extra £240-ish left in my main bank account.
  • Finally, my debts are into 3 figures, instead of 4. :j
  • That's great, well done! :D
  • Barely a month from now, it'll be a whole year, since the bank loan ended. :)
  • I can vouch for the amazing feeling that being debt-free can bring.
A word of advice is not to go too mad, as building a cushion of savings is vital to avoid disaster when unforseen bills come. I, myself am facing one of those; but I did have my cushion of savings which means all I have to do is work on building them(savings) back up, rather than facing debt again. Good luck all DFW's- it's all worth it!
  • Wow bedsit bob that year has FLOWN by!!! It feels like you posted this post a few months back! Well done and congratulations on being "clean" for a year!

As of this morning, my Bank Loan is GONE - ENDED - FINISHED.

I literally have just a year to go on mine.
It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.
