Our local chemist has just started stocking these. While they smell nice on the shelf are they really worth the money and do they make a 'whole' room smell nice ?

They do, & the smell is very realistic aswell, I prefer the fruity smells - sweet strawberry is my fave, right now I have a blueberry one burning & its delicious.
They also last a very long time & burn well, not just a tunnel down the middle, I usually buy the 22oz jars which last ages.
Often they have a smell of the month which is reduced by 25%.
I now buy mine direct from Yankee & have them shipped over or sometimes QVC have them although I have never bought from them.0 -
Well I've always found that they do, yes they are more expensive than some other types of candle but worth it I think.
We have a branch of Ponden Mills near us that sells them at around 30% off which is quite a bargain! Might be worth looking for them in similar outlet type stores too?:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

I would agree with mamaduke, they are superb and well worth the extra few pennies than other inferior makes. I tend to buy mine from ebay, and I sue the candle tarts, i break it into 3 or 4 pieces instead of using the whole one.If you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0

we are lucky where we live the factory is around the corner and every friday they make their candles we must live in the best smelling area around. its worth going for a walk just to take in the aromaThe average woman would rather have beauty than brains,
because the average man can see better than he can think.

For a cheaper alternative I would recommend pintail candles. They are great0

Its based on weight so as you add to order it gives you a running P&P cost0
