Designer Outlet Ashford
Hoping to go to the designer outlet end of this month but see that parking for a day is £10! Does anyone know of park and ride scheme or somewhere to park that is near enough to walk. My 17year old daughter can shop for England so although 4 hours parking is not bad price wise it wouldn't be long enough! Or perhaps some one knows if I can move car after 4 hours?? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

The last time I went to Ashford with a friend it was cheaper to keep going back to the meter with a 50p every couple of hours rather than paying for a whole day's parking. Sorry, haven't been there for a couple of years, but you could try calling the local council for the area or looking up there website for a park and ride or cheaper car park if you're worried.
Happy shopping!:o

Ashford International Train Station is just over the road and that is £9 for a full day's parking or 50p per hour (short stay) so might save a little bit.

Know that its probably too late - but you can keep going back to your car to change the ticket as many times as you like (as far as I know) A pound for 4 hours parking - the shopping centre is a kind of oval shape with the carpark in teh middle and shops round the edge - so you will pass your car going round so half way round might be an idea to get another ticket! Hope this is of some help - I only live round the corner so pm me if there is anything else you would like to know

Yes we went and had a good day and as Pollywallydoodle says you can keep going back to get a new ticket. That's what I wasn't sure of when I first posted. Thanks to all who replied.
