Well now I feel daft, I read many times that the 14 days rule isn't in place any more.
I am a standard member yes, but now I'll just wait the 14 days if needs be.
Thanks
No problem, it has taken me a few months to find an efficient way of managing my refs but I think I have finally found a system that works for me.
I have just had a look at the FAQs and there is no mention of having changed the rules.
I'll have a look at the forum and come back to you if there is any change.0 -

I notice that you recycle after 12 days. At that point you're throwing money away as they would be recycled for free after 14 days (I take it you're a standard member). You should try to look at the way your refs click and look for a pattern over 2 or 3 weeks. A ref does not need to click every day in order to be profitable, as long as they click above your BEP, you're earning. Some of my best refs only click 2 or 3 times a week but have an average of over 2 which is fantastic.
You could try to download Neobux Handy Referral Manager. You can use the free version for as long as you want and, until you have a better idea of how to interpret the data, it is perfect. Using it together with NB's own stats is a very powerful tool.
How do you manage the extension of referrals?
Obviously extending for 240 days is the most cost effect, but if you are buying 100 referrals that'll cost you over $100. Do you only buy referrals once you have enough in the bank to extend them at the same time?Swagbucks since July 2012 - £300 Paypal, £330 Amazon

At first, I waited until I had some money in advance to extend some of them to 240 days and, every day, I used the day's earning to extend more. I also used money from other sites. Then I decided to upgrade to ultimate and ,each evening, I put $10 in my golden pack balance and the rest in my rental balance and used that either to extend or to buy the next pack.
I also make sure to start extending again some of the older ones so I don't get a bad surprise in a few months time. Yesterday morning, for example, I rented another 300. I extended 10 of them straight away and, with whatever was left over, I re-extended 5 old ones which had only 137 days left. Doing that may mean that it takes me a bit longer to rent but I find it a lot safer. It also gives me time to look at what my refs are doing every day.0 -

Thanks for the replies, it's interesting to hear other users experiences.
I started by working up to 198 referrals then having to manically extend them before they ran out, could only manage 90 days though.
Do you use autopay? It helps a little with shorter renewals as it gives you a few extra days here and there but for longer durations I guess it doesnt matter too much.
Thinking I might fund the extra dollars I need for golden so I can speed things up. By the time I reach the 90 dollars I'll likely have to extend them again. If I manage them smartly I'm sure I could make it back eventually.Swagbucks since July 2012 - £300 Paypal, £330 Amazon

Do you do other sites? I find that an easy way to get funds for NB. I started Nerdbux about a month ago and I make about $1 a day so approximately every 2 weeks I have an extra $15 to speed things up
I have never used autopay because it works out to be slightly more expensive than extending to 240 days.0 -

I've heard of clixsense and nerdbux (through the hoard of NB ads lol) but as I do all the mini jobs on NB I didnt think there could be much to be made through those sights. Do they have rented referrals too?Swagbucks since July 2012 - £300 Paypal, £330 Amazon

Clixsense doesn't by Nerdbux does, however I don't rent there. I do have some direct refs on Nerdbux and there are A LOT of ads to click. The great thing is that - unlike Neobux and Clixsense - you don't have to actually watch them, so I do other sites at the same timeAlso, because it is a new site - although it belongs to a very well established company - Nerdbux has lots of offers on. A couple a weeks back they offered 1 000 000 banner exposures for $17. I have a Neobux banner running and it gets me a new ref every few days, half of which are quite active. They also run offers for other types of ads but they are too expensive for me. However, quite a few of the big advertisers (the ones who seem to have hundreds of ads all over different sites) buy them and, in turn, you get dozens of ads to click.

wow you've really got it all covered! no wonder you made it to $1000. I've got a lot to learn. Should really get my referral link out there, I have one so far.

DRs are a great earner but, unfortumately, they often act like RRs and they don't always click. I'd say that about 40% of mine are active...ish and, out of that, half are great.0
