  • Also posted this on the Swagbucks forum, but for those who don't follow that one anymore...

I finally got an OpinionSurvey (TokenAds) after having major issues with them for weeks.

For weeks now, I was getting lots of tickboxes, but when I selected "Next" it always gave the the "Sorry we have no surveys for you" screen.

Tonight, I decided to try them on Chromium (Linux version of Chrome), instead of Firefox.

Dunno if it was just coincidence, but I actually was able to go through to the qualification stage. I must have been DQ'd from a dozen surveys before finally getting one on grocery shopping.

Chuffed because I had been getting DQ'd without even any qualifying questions, even though loads of tickboxes were marked "True".

So anyone else having the same problem might want to try a different browser, if you've not already

BTW, the surveys are 850NC, worth up to $1.44.

    ThriftyFelicity,

Earlier sometime back you mentioned to use virtualbox for installing any stuff from these sites as they may contain lots of adwares/trojans etc.

I have windows 7 home premium with virtual box, win 7 home premium does not comes with virtual xp pc. Can I use a OEM being sold on Amazon to something like this one

Another crediting offer... this is a gambling offer, so not for everyone.

TrialPay: Jackpotjoy -- Join and deposit £10 -- 24,000 NeoCoins on Neobux (yes, 24,000! This is worth up to $40, so even if you lose the deposit, you're quids in... provided you don't have one of those pesky gambling addictions ;))

The offer says you have to wager the £10, but I only had to deposit it and I got credited 24,000 NC. I also got a bonus from Jackpotjoy of £25 for the £10 deposit, so now I have £35 sitting in my Jackpotjoy account, and 24,000 NC, all for a tenner.

I've been seriously thinking about this offer, that's a lot of NC and a few £ profit earned regardless and way more than I've managed to earn in over 3 weeks but as you can imagine I'm slightly apprehensive. I was thinking of doing the offer, playing the games and walking away regardless of whether I make it back or not but it of course isn't as easy as that, obviously I'm aware of what these sites do, they draw you in with the 'free' money to play with and if all goes to plan as far as they're concerned, after you play and probably lose that £35, they've got you hooked and make you believe its all easy and you can win it back, so I'm not too sure, though it is very tempting for that amount of NC which of course could be worth even more if you've got other NC saved up.

There is info in the first and second posts of this thread, including links to offerwall comparisons.

Neobux pays the best for tasks. Tasks are paid in cash and are available for withdrawal right away, subject to the minimum cashout levels (starts at $2, and increases to a maximum of $10).

Neobux also pays the best for offers, although there is a 30-day pending period from offer completion until the NeoCoins are available to convert to cash. The longer you wait to convert, the more the NC are worth:
    5,000 NC=$5
    100,000 NC=$170 (70% more)

InstaGC is also really good, provided you don't mind giftcards (Amazon, ASOS, Starbucks) instead of cash. They don't pay as much for tasks, but they do have tasks that Neobux doesn't have. They also have offerwalls that Neobux doesn't have, and most of the offers don't have a pending period.

If you like surveys, the Swagbucks daily survey is the same as "OpinionSurveys" which are available on the TokenAds walls of Neobux and InstaGC. Whereas Swagbucks gives you 70SB (about 63 cents), OpinionSurveys on TokenAds gives you 850NC on Neobux (worth 85 cents to $1.44). Not sure at the moment of how much they're worth on InstaGC, as the surveys aren't showing at the moment.

The Swagbucks "Trusted Surveys" are the same as iPoll surveys done directly, except that iPoll pay twice as much.

There is a signup for iPoll on the TokenAds wall, giving you 473 NC on Neobux (47 cents to 80 cents) and 37 cents on InstaGC. You also get $5 in your iPoll account when you register.

I also really like GlobalTestMarket and ValuedOpinions for surveys.

I don't know too much about it, but I asked hubby and he said that if you are running windows 7 as your main OS, then you would be better off running Windows XP in your virtual environment (Virtualbox), because it's not a memory hog the way that Windows 7 is. He felt that it would really slow your computer down to be running two versions of Windows 7 (one as your main OS and one in Virtualbox).

He said XP home edition would be good enough, doesn't have to be XP professional.
