These tasks are getting more picky. The casino ones now ask for actual info you have to search for, like the toll free number. I'm so used to flying through them, but now they require effort lol.

Equally the answer questions tasks keep updating the rules to be more strict. They talk about not waffling on at the start, I wouldnt if you'd lower the word count required ;)

You just have to develop a better memory ;)

I know what you mean about the answers. If the question is, for example, When was the film Ghostbusters released, a certain amount of waffling is inevitable. Perhaps they just want the waffling at the end instead of the beginning, lol.

  • Hi there everyone.
I have a question about renting referrals - I seem to be paying a lot of money extending my rented referrals, I have set it on 240 days, 3 days before - is this the right setting to have??

I seem to be making a loss everyday too... They don't click!!

Thank goodness for the mini jobs!! Just did about 20 duplicate items tasks!

    Happy earning everyone!!

    Hi ThriftyMummy,

I am no expert but I hope I can help you. How many referrals have you rented? I would recommend using Autopay for lower volumes, autorenew, whilst offering a good discount is generally of use where you are a gold member and getting referrals is harder as there are lots of members all trying to get new referrals.

For information I have 275 referrals and at the moment have them all set on autopay so that I can ensure a profit each day. You have to recycle your referrals regularly too, I've been waiting four or five days then recycling them to ensure that everyone is performing. Unfortunately those who click regularly seem to stop and not start again so whilst I'm reluctant they get binned too.

Its still a bit of a learning game for me although I'm hoping to stop having to do tasks as from next week with a self sufficient plan - fingers crossed!
  • Hi mark, thank you for your reply.
I'm on 258 RR - so once they reach the next payment date - do I renew them manually? Or does autopay renew for 1 day?? Sorry I'm quite confused!!

    Hi ThriftyMummy,

It is really confusing so no need to apologise. I have also had autopay on, this works by extending the rental for one day but only if the referral clicks that day, if there is no click it reduces by one but you don't pay any more for it. This is fine until that referral space gets less than 20 days left (for standard members) below this no matter whether the referral in that slot clicks or not it won't extend so you have to manually manage those and I have been extending mine by individually.

I think Autorenew allows you to select the period you want to extend for and again it works each day regardless of referral clicking so you are always paying but you will never lose that referral space.

I'm hoping to buy my final 25 as a standard member next week and then try and get to Golden - 90 dollars is a lot though and I'm trying not to invest any money : )

Good luck with yours - please let me know how you get on
  • Hi mark,

You make much more sense than those strategy guides out there on the net!!
I think I will switch auto renew off then. I spent nearly $10 today extending!! I thought I was going to run out of money!

How do you manually renew? Is there a button? I only see a recycle button?

I agree with what you are doing, hopefully with auto renew off, I can save up my $90 and upgrade to golden!

Thank you Again and Good luck too!!

No need to thank me, I just hope I'm not giving you rubbish advice.

If you tick the box next to the one referral slot or as many as you want to extend and then scroll down to the bottom of the page there should be a drop down box to select what you want to do, it should say recycle, extend by 15 days, 30 days etc. I have only been extending mine by 30 days because like you I was trying not to run out of money lol!!

Been doing those casino tasks and really tired - early start tomorrow too : (

I did four of the answer questions tasks yesterday but haven't received the bonus yet. Seems odd as i get it pretty quickly.

What are rented referrals and how do they make profit? I'm a tiny bit confused, but I've seen plenty of people talking about them! :-) x
 How did I let it get such a mess?
