Mortgage Application Process - Halifax

Hi all, submitted a full mortgage application to Halifax via a broker on Monday 25th Feb, only had to supply 1 month wage slip and bank account statement. On Thursday 28th Feb we had a call to say valuation was going to be carried out yesterday. Heard nothing since. Can we assume that Halifax are happy with everything else such as affordability/credit checks etc if they not requested anything else and that they have done valuation? Thanks

What has your broker said?0

Just that he will be in touch with any news. I just wondered what halifax process was0

usually sign off the income within 24-48 hours and then they wait for the valuation report to come back.
If the valuation was done on the 27th, it should be back by now and assessed.
A lot of the Halifax processes are automatic unless something non-standard has happened
On the basis of what you've said, I'd chase them tomorrow to see what the delay is.0 -
Valuation was only done yesterday, they informed us of when it was going to happen on the 27th, sorry if i caused confusion. Do they normally do all checks before valuation is carried out?0

If the valuation was done yesterday, I'd expect the case to be offered tomorrow, if they have everything else in place.I am a mortgage broker. It should be ok, however until funds are released mortgages are never guaranteed. Seems as if the valuation comes back with the word YES on it you should go to offer if the case has all paperwork needed.0
