Hi, I was wondering if anyone is clued up on lending policies and who we should apply to in this scenario......we have seen a house we want however my husband has inadvertently missed two payments on his credit card in november and dec 2012 (the balance was about £300 and we can evidence there were funds in our accounts) we were on holiday on one of the occasions and the following month it was Christmas, just an oversight but I know this is an issue for rbs & natwest. We have a 15% deposit and have not missed any mortgage or loan payments ever......any ideas? I don't want to apply and be declined if it never had a chance in the first place......help !

Have you got your credit reports?
Do they show as a 1 or a 2 on there?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. There is likely to be a solution (other things being equal) although you will not have access to the entire market..

If your looking for advice or guidance then you would need to book an appointment with a mortgage advisor.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Not looking for advice, im a financial adviser for investments, so I understand your position completely. Just looking for the lenders who may have less stringent policies than others so i can try and speak to their underwriters. If you could pm me that would be great. Accept this would be generic info only !0
