When solar thermal was sold as the way to save [STRIKE]mugs[/STRIKE] customers £thousands, whilst at the same time saving the world from global warming;), it was almost standard practice for a company to 'go bust' and start up with a new name the following day; check with Trading Standards offices. Thus any guarantees were worthless and doubtless some creditors(i.e. suppliers) could whistle for their money.
To prevent this happening with solar PV all firms had to be MCS registered - some hope!0 -
BEWARE, I now live in a house with a slate roof ( it has tiles) and is facing the opposite way to which the compass dictates. The slate roof needs extra scaffolding ( extra cost on the bill ) of course. Come on Matt get the Watchdog Rogues Gallery off its holiday and visit Wakefield.0
