Does Tesco backtrack clubcard points for past shopping?

I have been doing grocery shopping with Tesco online for the last two years. I would say I have shopped around 15 times in that time. I don't spend huge amount, maybe £50 to £80 each time. It never occurred to me to apply for their clubcard promotion because at the time of shopping 1p per £1 doesn't seem a lot. I kind of regret it now because it would have built up to a nice little amount, and I thought I could use it against an iPad mini that I am planning to buy. Since I have my receipts online, will they backtrack my points if I apply for the program now?

In another word 'yes'!
I say that because in doing that shopping you probably have a CC - though you may not realise it.
That is, when you sign up for a dot com account, and say you don't have one - the system sets one up for you. It is linked to you email adress and the postal address that you first set up, hence any orders you do on-line with tesco generate points.
Have you never had any mail from CC ? Or have you changed your postal address i.e. mail vouchers etc is going to an old address?
Dig out your last delivery receipt - did it say 'you could have earned 'xx' points, or did say you have 'xx' points ?? If the latter, it'll also quote the last four digits.
Moreover, you can either call CC to do a search with your name & postcode(s), or if it's unusual you may manage with just your name! Or, ring GHS quote a recent order no and ask about the CC no, then call CC to check details and voucher history.
NB not GHS people are trained with CC, and vice versa.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
I have managed to locate all the order emails. Each email has name, address, order number, items ordered, clubcard points earned. However, it does not state. My postal address is the same.
I noticed that some of them are double points. For example, if I shopped £65 worth, I got 130 points.
As previously stated, I did not actually open a CC account but it does say in each email the 'clubcard points collected this visit'.

Your GHS address may be different from your Clubcard address, you haven't said if you have moved at all?
As it says 'Clubcard points collected ....' you have a Clubcard, though as yet it's not one that you've physically had.
Previous advice still applies - good luck.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
