Not great, but i dont think i ever had ccj or anything, thats why i thought the loan may be a better option, getting all debt in one place and working on that.
What is a DMP??0 -
debt management plan - basically phone payplan or CCCS (numbers in links above) and they will basically work out what you can afford to pay towards your debts each month and spread the payments fairly between all your creditors. It will probably mean defaults etc registered against you which stay for 6 years, but it would relieve the burden and you would probably get interest frozen.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Most of the debts are down to me, i think spendaholic is a name i should use.
and my hubby knows nothing about them. He would not go for DMP. Hes lookiing to move in about 3 yrs when the oldest is out of school. !!!0 -
Have you checked out the oldstyle board to see about cooking from scratch or using a slow cooker?0

Well not meaning to sound awful, but I think you have to tell him as before long if you can't meet these payments every month you will get defaulted anyway by your creditors. You might not have any choice regarding a DMP. Loads of people on here have been in the same situation regarding telling partners and they will be able to advise you better.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015
