HELP PLEASE with unfair charges on mobile phone

Hi, let me explain. I had a debt with TMobile for about £220 for which I couldn't afford to pay as I was on maternity leave and all money had to go important things. I paid it off after about 4 months but apparently about a week before I did TMobile added charges onto the account for £210!!!! I have paid the actual debt (which is now with a debt collection agency) but don't know whether I can argue with them about the charges. Should I just pay it any get it out of the way? Am desperately trying to improve my credit rating and this is holding me back!

Your comments greatly appreciated.

have u tried ringing them? they've probably added on all your remaining months line rental. ignore the debt company for now and go back and ring t mobile - ask for the collections dept. tell them you've cleared the bill and you'd like the contract back to normal - i.e. you don't want to terminate it and pay it off now. it's happened to me once or twice and they normally want to keep your custom.... :)
