Somerfield Simply Value Bananas!!! Fairtrade!!!

Yesterday I was in Somerfield! I only ever buy Fairtrade as Bananas sourced any other way are pure evil:mad:
I noticed the sticker visible through the 'simply' bag was Fairtrade!!!
So 12 fairtrade bananas cost £1.22.
I don't know how often it happens, but it is worth keeping an eye out!

Tried 'value' bananas once, never again!

Our sainsbury value ones are fair trade too.

My bananas are perfectly yellow. Not brown or green. Little bit dismissive really. My children are enjoying them, and they won't eat green, bruised or brown.
As you say, you only tried them once and were clearly unlucky. No need to put other's off.
Perhaps you prefer the one's that are sprayed with such toxic chemicals, it causes the men who work with them to father deformed children. Perhaps their colour is more acceptable.
