Saucisson sec

Options
I won some saucisson sec in a Comte competition. But I have no idea what to do with it!
does it need cooking? do i just eat it by itself or with crackers or something?any help would be appreciated

    Yes, you can have it with crackers or even with some baguette bread is lovely. I'd eat it tapas style some with some cheese and maybe olives to accompany it.

    Or chopped up with a tin of ratatouille, and pasta and any other veg you have handy, let the oils oooooze out of the saucisson a bit, mmmmmmmmm. Mix it all together with a topping of grated cheese.
