when to apply for catalogues / vanquis

Hi

My husband and I were discharged from bankruptcy June last year, and are working on clearing up our credit file. I want to apply for a catalogue account, and my husband for a Vanquis card - not for more debt but to rebuild a credit history. On our credit histories all our debts show as satisifed except our mortgage ( defaulted) and a CCJ from MBNA chasing a credity card. Do I need to get these sorted before applying?

I am on letter number THREE to C&G and MBNA

Thanks

I think if you are on letter number 3, you need to report them now to the authorities quoted in the clean up sticky. I doubt they will act if they haven't to letters number one and two.

Some people have managed to get a Vanquis as your stage, some haven't, so impossible to say whether you would be approved or declined really.
