    I have never used a PDL but I have several friends who abuse the system and get money out for nights out and such - completely destroying their credit score in the process.

    I assume that majority of people haven't a clue or are just too dumb to realise the costs involved in doing PDL's. I have no sympathy for those who take out a PDL later to find out they can't pay it back.

    Whose more irresponsible; the lenders or borrowers?
