You could make these chocolate marble meringues, I'm sure milk chocolate would work too.

I have been given a packet of Hotel Chocolat figures (teddys I think ) in dark chocolate and was wondering if I grated it up I could use it in a cake or cookies None of my immediate family including me like dark chocolate (this is 70%stuff) I don't want to throw it away if I could use it somehow in maybe a cake or cookies that might make it taste better any ideas ?

Angel food cakes use egg whites, but they're likely to call for cocoa powder, rather than chocolate. Could you use the chocolate to make a glaze or frosting?

I don't have any tried and tested angel food cake recipes--there is a Julia Child one, although it uses cream of tartar and cocoa which you may not have.

Egg whites freeze quite well, I believe, so if you can't decide on a recipe or find you don't have time to make it, you could always stick them in the freezer for a time when you do need them.
